  • Take a Leap - Jumpboard Conditioning Across the Pilates Method will explore how the traditional repertoire (Classical Reformer, Cadillac, Ped-o-Pul, Mat, Foot Corrector and Wunda Chair) along with ballet foot conditioning exercises help prepare the feet, knees and hips for the Jumpboard. Display Pilates as a cohesive system with dynamic exercises that can be applied to achieve an athletic goal (in this case, Jumpboard Conditioning); gaining familiarity with similar exercises across the Pilates Method; helps in developing class plans; demonstrate jumping on the Reformer with and without use of a jump board.

This workshop demonstrates how non-Pilates (dance conditioning & ballet) exercises are useful for strengthening the legs for jumping; helpful in supporting everyday activities like walking, running, climbing the stairs and sitting/standing with confidence
